Intermediate Newsletter 3/28

Hello VCS Families,

We are praying for this to be an amazing school year. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. — Psalm 1:1-2.

Attendance is so important for students to be successful at school. To help improve grades for the 4th quarter, please ensure your child gets to school by 7:15 so they can start the day strong and be ready to begin class on time.

As a reminder, you can bring in store-bought treats for your child’s birthday, such as a bag of chips or cupcakes. We will pass out the treats during the last 15 minutes of the school day. Please let your student’s 9th-period teacher know if you will be sending in treats.

If you are changing your child’s dismissal method, i.e., from bus to car rider or car rider to bus, please call the office at 330-788-8088 by 1:45 pm to ensure Ms. Zinz can make the changes in KIDaccount.

Please check our Website for other relevant information: https://www.vcsohio.org/

We also have an Intermediate Facebook and Instagram page:

As a reminder, the tardy bell rings at 7:24. Please ensure your student is at school by 7:15 to be ready for 1st period. Coming to school late or leaving early affects student performance in the classroom.

A legal parent or guardian must accompany any Intermediate students attending all games/activities, either home or away. In addition, we will call parents or guardians to pick up their students if they try to attend a game/activity on their own.

Please do not drop your student off on the street in the morning. Instead, please pull into the half-circle to release your student so we can ensure their safety.
